Tata Motors has launched the second batch of its Post Graduate Management Program at Pune (EPGDBM). The Mumbai based company had first launched its Post Graduate Management Program at Jamshedpur, in partnership with Symbioses International. The 2nd batch of Managers from various functions will undergo copious General Management Program covering Operations, Finance, People Management, Supply Chain, Marketing etc. The focus is to strengthen Managerial skills at multiple levels in the organization. The partnership with Symbiosis is helping provide avenues for collaborative research, content development and knowledge exchange between industry and academia.

This partnership will provide an opportunity to the employees of Tata Motors to further develop their management skills. It will help the company to strengthen its functional expertise and provide developmental opportunities for its employees. Aligned with company’s strategic objective, the program aims at developing talent and nurturing Managerial Skills of budding Engineers and other professionals at Tata Motors. The EPGDBM program comprises of 4 semesters over 24 months where the program pedagogy involves concepts learnt in the classroom and applied on a real-time project in diverse functional areas across Tata Motors. The Pro Chancellor of Symbiosis International (Deemed University), Dr. Vidya Yeravdekar, was also present at the launch of the Pune program. He has been involved in cementing the partnership with Tata Motors, by chalking out a highly customized design, best suited for the working professionals in the manufacturing.
