The electric version of the 2020 Tata Nexon Facelift will arrive in the forthcoming 18 months.
Since its introduction in September 2017, the Tata Nexon has become popular with automobile lovers. With an average sales figure of around 4,500 units until March 2019, the Tata Nexon SUV has overtaken the Ford EcoSport to become the second best-selling SUV model.
With the entry of Mahindra XUV300 in February and the Hyundai Venue by May 2019, the Tata Nexon lost its second-ranking to Hyundai Venue. The Hyundai Venue went on to beat the Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza that was leading the segment for the past three years.
In a bid to regain the lost position, Tata Nexon is planning to release the 2020 Tata Nexon Facelift with exciting features. The 2020 Tata Nexon Facelift design gets its inspiration from the Impact Design 2.0 that was first seen in the Tata Harrier. However, the Tata Nexon gets a sharper front fascia. The 2020 Tata Nexon Facelift features a slim grille section with the Tata badge in the centre. The automatic projector headlamps present an attractive sight. The headlamp cluster along with the integrated LED DRLs give a sporty look to the 2020 Tata Nexon Facelift.
