- Confirmed: Next-Gen Honda Jazz To Get Hybrid Powertrain

The upgraded next-gen Honda Jazz will be on display at the 2019 Frankfurt Motor Show.
The vehicle gets a hybrid powertrain as part of Honda’s electric push.
Honda has announced that the next-gen Honda Jazz will feature a hybrid powertrain. Honda has an Electric Vision Strategy that aims to electrify all its models within the next five years.
As on date, the Honda CR-V is available in a hybrid version in Europe. The next-gen Honda City will follow suit next year. The Honda Jazz is next in line to get hybrid technology in the form of an i-MMD dual-motor hybrid powertrain.
Reports indicate that the 1.5L 4-cylinder i-VTEC petrol motor paired with CVT will get an electric motor to ensure hybrid technology. It will enhance the fuel efficiency of the Honda Jazz.

Honda Power Charger plans to cater to customers who wish to charge their vehicles at their convenience. It will sport a 7.4kW single-phase and 22kW 3-phase power supplies. Thus, the next-gen Zero-emission Honda Jazz will get a full charge in 4.1 hours. A Power Manager Prototype will connect the electric vehicles to a smart grid to enable the secure distribution of power between the car and the network. Honda is also partnering with Ubitricity in this regard.
The Honda Jazz or Honda Fit will get a new version next year. Spy photos have already revealed some of its details. These photos indicate a modern and mature design that features a prominent grille, updated bumpers, large overhangs, and LED tail lamps among other additions.

The next-gen Honda Jazz interiors will feature a state-of-the-art infotainment system compatible with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. A new instrument cluster along with a multi-functional steering wheel will adorn the new avatar of the Honda Jazz. The upcoming vehicle will get an updated platform, and an electric variant is due down the line.
