Royal Enfield has updated the Classic 350 model in February 2019 to include a dual-channel ABS.
The revised safety norms that came into effect from April 01, 2019 mandates all motorcycles with 125cc capacity or more should have ABS.
A single-channel ABS version has been launched in Kerala and Tamil Nadu for Rs 1,45,975.
As per the safety norms mandate, it is compulsory for all motorcycles with displacement 125cc or more to have ABS. Royal Enfield had launched the RE Classic 350 model with a dual-channel ABS in February 2019. This bike costs Rs 1,53,900.
The Company has now introduced a single-channel ABS version of the same bike, named RE Classic 350 S-ABS in Kerala and Tamil Nadu for Rs 1,45,975. This new model, costing Rs 9,000 less than the existing dual-channel ABS bike, comes in two new color shades, Mercury Silver, and Pure Black.

The paint scheme of the Royal Enfield motorcycles depends on feedback received from its young clientele. Hence, this new version has blacked-out wheels, engine, fenders, and rear-view mirrors. It retains the characteristic headlamp and 2D graphics.
On the mechanical front, there is no change in the configuration of the RE Classic 350 S-ABS. It features the same 346cc single-cylinder engine capable of delivering 20.1bhp of power and a torque of 28Nm. This engine pairs with a 5-speed gearbox.
The new version comes with a similar suspension having telescopic forks in the front and gas-charged shock absorbers at the back end of the bike. The braking system consists of front disc brakes and drum brakes for the rear wheel.
The entry-level RE Classic 350 S-ABS is not only affordable but also safe because of ABS.
