In September 2017, Tata had launched a new SUV “Nexon” which received a great response in the market and Tata was able to retrieve its position back. Following the success which Nexon brought, Tata, in the earlier September made a comeback with the launch of Nexon Kraz and Kraz+ editions. Major modifications are made in the two Special editions promising the car lovers a whole new experience.
In the exteriors, a new black paint scheme is there which was last appreciated in the Tata Safari Storme. The new Sporty 16-inches steel wheels having wheel-covers with a contrast of orange inside it. The exterior is contrasted with orange that the colour will also be seen on the Grille and the ORVMs along with a contrasting roof painted in Sonic silver colour. The door handles too come in a matte finish making the car more attractive.
In the interiors, the old standard dashboard in matte grey finish is replaced with an eye-catching dashboard that comes in a granite black finish. A fusion of orange will also be seen inside the car with the premium seat covers having a contrast of orange in it and over the A.C. vents. The Nexon Kraz and Kraz+ come in three driving modes namely: Eco, City, and Sport which automatically work with the car’s torque and throttle response.
The special edition models are available in both petrol as well as diesel engines. The Kraz+ is driven by a 1.2 liters turbocharged petrol engine with a production capacity of 110ps of power and 170 Nm of torque. The Kraz+ is available in the AMT transmission system whereas the Kraz comes in 6-speed manual transmission.
The Nexon Kraz is priced at Rs. 7.57 lakhs while the Kraz+ edition is priced at Rs. 8.17 lakhs only.
