  • Bajaj Pulsar 150 Neon did not have tank extensions before this.

  • Regular Pulsar 150 had tank extensions.

  • Pulsar 150 Neon now gets them to distinguish itself from the Pulsar 125 Neon.

Bajaj has added tank extensions to the Pulsar 150 Neon to distinguish it from the Pulsar 125 Neon. The Pulsar 150 Neon and the Pulsar 125 Neon look exactly the same except for the badging, which is probably why the company has made this move.

The Pulsar 150’s other variants all have tank extensions, which distinguished them from the Pulsar 150 Neon. Now all the 150cc Pulsars have similar styling, other than the paint schemes. There are no mechanical changes to the Pulsar 150 Neon.

It continues to be powered by the 150cc air-cooled single-cylinder DTSi engine that generates 13 bhp and 13.4 Nm and uses a five-speed gearbox. It continues to use twin gas-charged rear shock absorbers and alloy wheels with a front disc brake-equipped with ABS.

The Bajaj Pulsar 150 Neon competes with the Honda CB Unicorn 150 and TVS Apache RTR 160. Its price after the styling update remains unchanged, at Rs 75,200 ex-showroom.
