A new petrol engine is in the offing.
The launch of the Vitara Brezza Facelift will be in February 2020.
Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza was, for a long time, the undisputed market leader in the sub-4-meter SUV. Hyundai Venue has recently overtaken Maruti Suzuki in this regard. The entry of the Hyundai Creta and Mahindra XUV300 has increased the competition.
Maruti Suzuki is now launching the Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza Facelift to counter the competition and regain its status.
Expect the refurbished Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza to come with the following enhanced features.
The Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza Facelift exterior gets a stylish update that breathes freshness into its appearance. Spy images reveal new foglamp housing along with a new bumper. A new front grille greets you with an updated set of projector headlamps.
The side profile is the same except for the alloy wheels. Apart from the new rear bumper, there are not many changes to the exteriors.
The Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza Facelift interior matches its refurbished exteriors in every way. The upholstery change and the new SmartPlay Studio infotainment system are the noticeable changes that increase the competitive factor of this SUV.
Brand New Engine Option
The existing Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza runs on a Fiat-sourced 1.3L diesel engine capable of producing a peak power of 90ps and torque of 200Nm. This engine does not conform to BSVI emission norms. The Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza Facelift gets a new petrol engine that is already present in the Maruti Ciaz and Ertiga.
This 1.5L petrol engine can deliver the power of 107ps and torque of 138Nm. The BSVI-compliant engine mates with SVHD mild-hybrid technology along with two transmission options, the 4-speed automatic and 5-speed manual.
Though Maruti Suzuki has not officially declared any launch date, one can expect the launch to happen at the Auto Expo in February 2020.
