Hyundai Creta has been a popular SUV from the Hyundai stables. Recently, the competition has heated up with the introduction of MG Hector and the Kia Seltos.

The slowdown in the automobile market has also resulted in the overall SUV sales coming down to 6641 units from 8334 units in June. Despite these factors, Hyundai managed to retain its 4th spot in the top five best-selling SUVs.

To beat the competition, Hyundai has announced additional benefits up to Rs 1 lakh on the Hyundai Creta. Hyundai has plans to introduce the next-gen Hyundai Creta early next year. It had recently got a facelift last year to counter the emergence of new models like the Kia Seltos.

Hyundai is offering the highest discounts on the 1.6L engine equipped variants. 

Hyundai Creta maintains its reputation as a user-friendly SUV. The SUV is available in three engine options,

  • 1.6L petrol engine

  • 1.4L diesel engine, and

  • 1.6L diesel motor

The 1.6L engines pair with both automatic and manual transmission systems, whereas the 1.4L engine mates with a manual gearbox alone. 

Hyundai is introducing the next-gen Hyundai Creta in 2020. It will come equipped with a BSVI-compliant engine, the same that is available on the Kia Seltos. Further, Hyundai Creta will share its underpinnings with the Kia model, as well.

The Hyundai Creta prices start from Rs 9.99 lakhs. This SUV offers fierce competition to the MG Hector, Kia Seltos, Renault Kaptur, Nissan Kicks, and the Tata Harrier.
